A painting inspired by Solstice Scents' Victorian Picnic

Hi IMAM! Is fan art of perfume a thing? I had a lot of fun imagining my own picturesque fantasy picnic based on the notes of Victorian Picnic (Pound Cake, Loquat-Lemon Glaze, Orange Blossoms, Wisteria, Ladyfingers, Jasmine, Azalea Leaf & Riesling). 💜

Brief Fantôme impressions! And what are your favorite scents from them?

Hey r/Indiemakeupandmore! I recently received a sample of three scents from Fantôme and was blown away by the storytelling. I wanted to see if anyone could recommend me more scents to try based on my preferences and notes from this order.

Olwyn — (Magnolias, plush white lilies, night-blooming jasmine, and gardenias over rich, buttery vanilla, myrrh, benzoin, and a hint of orange blossom) Buttery white florals. Was a bit strong when it first arrived, but a month later has mellowed into this beautiful, lush bouquet, perfect for both daytime and nighttime. 4.5/5

Stolas — (Bluebells, an unburnt cedar offering, cool night air, lavender, soft owl feathers, blueberries, & a hint of dark chocolate) Wow this one blew me away. The dark chocolate hits you right away, but it's a kind of atmospheric and transportive chocolate, not a gourmand. There's a certain airiness to the mix. A while later I detect a creamy bluebell (or blueberry) mingling very sweetly with the chocolate and a tiiiiny waft of incense. 5/5 for execution and uniqueness

Vasilisa — (Clover honey, neroli, rich tonka, chamomile, dry hay, a flower crown of marigolds & sunflowers) Unfortunately the only one I did not like. The neroli is dominant in this one and overwhelms any other notes that I was looking forward to, i.e. the chamomile and hay. It's a very beautiful blend for anyone who likes neroli. Reminds me of a bright, saturated orange. 2/5 personally, 4/5 execution

Lorelei (free sample) (Tart wild strawberries, basil, black narcissus, entangling seaweed, watery graves) — My only oil sample. Not sure if I'd wear this but beautiful, dark, gothic.

MY PREFERENCES:

Honestly, I'm pretty open to trying new things! I gravitate towards soft, cozy musks and wispy, slightly ethereal florals (NAVA's Bastet's Musk, as well as BPAL's Seraphim come to mind). I like skin musks, rose, jasmine, osmanthus, gardenia, teas, cashmere, lactonic notes (though Alkemia's Au Lait was a scrubber), bergamot, sharper "green" notes, aquatics, amber, soft gourmands, atmospherics.

I also love the storytelling/marketing aspect of perfumery. Things that draw inspiration from mythological places or figures, these I can really grow into if there's a strong creative vision. Which is probably what draws me to Fantôme.

My only no-nos are ORANGE BLOSSOM/NEROLI and strong animalic notes. I have tried many times to get into orange blossom and I just ... can't. If it's present in non-trace amounts, it just completely overtakes the perfume for me.

True to my post's title, I would love to know your favorite scents as well even if they don't fall exactly within my preferences!❤️

Rook fan art

Hey! I'm a digital artist and was requested to draw Rook by a friend. I'm not too familiar with this game, but I hope you like it!

[Cinderella Phenomenon] I drew some fan art of Waltz

Hey! This game remains one of my favorite indie otomes of all time so I decided to refine some sketches I had lying around. I hope you like him!

(His earring is on the other side, I accidentally flipped the canvas oops)
