Making bracelets on the go
I've been making bracelets for about a year now. Normally my set up is to clip the bracelet using a clip board and work from there (with a printed out pattern clipped underneath. I'm wondering if y'all have tips for working on bracelets when you're trying to kill idle time out in the world (say in a doctor's office waiting room). I've tried using a carabiner + my nalgene water bottle loop but the angle isn't right and I struggle to keep the bracelet from moving around quite a bit. Would love to hear any creative solutions y'all may use.
Vegetarian dining around New Bern/Beaufort
I'm travelling to New Bern in a couple weeks and will also be visiting Beaufort area briefly. I've done a lot of travelling around NC and always struggled to find places to eat as a vegetarian, particularly in some of the more rural parts of the state. Don't get me started on the time I got a vegetable soup outside of Uwharrie and it came with beef chunks. I usually pack my own food when I travel, though that's not what I'd prefer to do.
Would love if vegetarians could share places in the area (less than a half hour drive) that you've enjoyed a meal.
For reference, I don't eat meat of any kind, including seafood. I do eat dairy/eggs/honey.
