✅ Uni-Assist forwarded documents: 18 June
✅ Received KIS portal credentials: 23 June
✅ Status changed from "Received" → "Valid": 29 June
⏳ As of Today: Still "Valid"

Title: EduApplication says PayPal payment is pending, but the portal shows payment completed. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone,

I applied to Technical university Chemnitz - web engineering through the EduApplication portal, and I've run into a confusing issue.

I paid the application fee using PayPal. In my EduApplication account, the payment status shows as completed/paid, so I assumed everything was fine.

However, I received this email from EduApplication:

The strange part is that the portal still shows that my payment was successful.

I already submitted a support ticket through the EduApplication contact form, explained the situation, and even attached the payment details. But despite that, I keep receiving the exact same "PayPal payment is pending" email.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

  • Did your application eventually proceed without any issues?
  • Was this just an automatic email?
  • How long did it take for EduApplication to confirm the payment?
  • Did you have to contact PayPal or did EduApplication resolve it themselves?

I'm a bit worried because I don't want my application to be delayed.

Hey everyone,

I applied to the M.Sc. Software Engineering program at the University of Hildesheim and wanted to understand my current application status.

Here’s my timeline:

  • Applied: April 15 (right after the portal opened)
  • Updated documents: April 23 (added some certificates)
  • Current status: “Under review” + “Decision pending”

I’m a bit confused about what this exactly means:

  • Does “decision pending” mean my evaluation is already done?
  • Is this a good sign or just a normal stage for everyone?
  • How long does it usually take to get a final decision after this?

Also, if anyone applied to Hildesheim before, how long did it take from this stage to receive an admit/reject?

Would really appreciate any insights or experiences 🙏
