2x2 theory
So this might be me being crazy, so here is what I believe what would happened in 2x2 for chapter 1
The protagonist would not be Hajime/ izuru cause what would happened is izuru would be the one transferred into the simulation instead of Hajime which. Now it’s shown in UDG izuru had knowledge of Junko plans and future foundations. What will happen is izuru will betray Junko and destroy the Junko virus and make his own killing game and take over monokuma which is where the boat will come to play. Chapter 1 the victims will be ai Junko and the blacken Hajime. Afterward izuru will have control over the killing game as he would have made while being in the system his own ai copy of himself. Now the killing game will change since izuru is in charge.

The truth of the tragedy 100% real and not fake
The truth about the tragedy. The tragedy is not what you think it is. Junko will make you believe the cause was the spread despair but there’s something else. The tragedy was a trial, a trial for the world to put a new tomorrow to humanity. Now people will argue this doesn’t make sense but they are wrong! Every major event in humanity’s history needed the war or the death of innocents to make progress! This is how the world works! Only nagito komaeda understand it! He knows that only with the sacrifice of many cause hope come forth! He knows that in the shadow of happiness lies cruelty. But against nagito lies a group that is agaisnt a new future. They are tied to the old world values and feel those sacrifices are against humanity. This group is called future foundation with the worse of all within this group a man named Makoto naegi. From the view of the player Makoto and future foundation are good while Junko is bad but that is utterly wrong! Both are in the wrong.
