The "Perfect Breakfast"

Here's one of my staples for first 🍴 meal of the day.. Whatever time it is 💯

Great protein content, awesome fat for the body and brain..

I eat this, or a close variant of it just about daily. Sub 2-4oz of rotisserie chicken in place of the beef bologna for a protein boost! Chicken vs beef bologna vs sausage on rotation.

The macros are spot-on 💯

This meal is what catapulted me to lose 60 lbs in 6 months, get metabolically healthy, and feel alive again.

I usually have a second, lighter meal within 3 - 6 hours after. Typically 2-4 more eggs with a small side, or just 8-10oz of Ribeye or Chuck-eye to round out my day and my macros 🖖 🖖 🖖

Carnivore-ish since 8/13/25..

Hi guys! Changed to a Ketogenic / Carnivore-ish lifestyle August of 2025. Can't say enough positive things..

I'm 57 years old, turning 58 in July. 6'3" tall.

In 2020 I was in the neighborhood of 270 lbs. Lost some weight on my patented "stress and depression diet" for a few years just after covid, but back up to 229 lbs on August 13th 2025. I could see myself hitting a new high soon.

I scoured the internet and YouTube.

Enter Carnivore-ish 🍻

Decided to overhaul my life and go Ketovore.

Since then I've lost over 60 lbs.

No more "Fat Elvis" 💯

A1C was 6.1. Down to 5.1

Triglycerides almost 400. Down to 67.

Bp was Hypertension levels every day.. 140+ over 90+.

Resting Pulse was high - 70s & 80s.

All my blood markers have improved, although LDL cholesterol has risen from roughly 100 to 205. I'm really not worried about that, due to apparently being a Lean Mass Hyper Responder.

For me, I feel carnivore-ish is the "Easy Button". I get to eat the foods I love, and I feel and look better. I'm almost down to my Air force weight from the early 90s!

I'm now metabolically healthy, and looking forward to the future 🍻

Here's my partial list of "bad things"..

Prediabetes - Gone

Metabolic Syndrome - Gone

Hypertension - Gone

Obesity - No More

Overweight - Not now

Triglycerides - Down from 300+

A laundry list of problems.. Gone

Several photos of me from 2018 on.. I ranged anywhere from 250-275 lbs or so. I carried the weight fairly well, but I felt like I was dying.

Photos show some food choices and carnivore mainstays.

I'm a cheater. Great buns get me every time..

Just had to make some Carnivore buns to go along with my lust for a "real" bacon cheeseburger!

2 3oz 80/20 patties, 2 cheddar slices, 3 strips bacon, handful of thin-as-fuck onions, Kinders "The Blend" to season🍻, spicy mustard on bottom bun, and Famous Dave's Devil's Spit sauce on the side.

Fuck yeah..

7 months on Carnivore-ish

Started Keto/Carnivore August 13, 2025 at 229 lbs. By mid-March 2026 I'm 169 lbs. Size 40/42" waist down to 34".

I'm 58 years old in July.

60 lbs gone. Feeling better. Blood tests all improved. LDL cholesterol sky high, but I could care less. A1C was 6.2, now 5.1. Triglycerides just shy of 400, down to 67.

Eating twice daily. Usually 6-8 eggs per day, beef patty, bacon, butter, etc..

Who owns a Flexicon?

Hi all!

I purchased a Flexicon resistance band gym a few weeks ago. It won't be shipped until June or July - ish. Whenever the next batch goes out.

Wondering who has a Flexicon, and what are your thoughts good/bad after having owned and used for several months?

I have no problem with the cost/value of the unit.. The steels used are high-gauge, etc. I've heard many people bitch and moan about cost, but they don't own the unit.

For a dedicated resistance band only machine, it seems well thought out.

My main uses will be rehab, physical therapy, and strength training. I'm 58 in July, and recently lost 60lbs on Ketovore. 6'3" and 170, down from 229 in August of 2025. Maintaining for two months now.

I have a laundry list of injuries, and will be in rehab for life. I've accepted that, but want to maximize myself. A proper diet, combined with workout/rehab without weights/momentum.

I've lost the weight I wanted to lose, now I need to regain muscle lost over the last so many years due to pain, neglect and depression.

I think flexicon is tailored to broken down guys (and gals) just like myself.

No product is perfect, so let's hear some Pros and Cons.

The Flexicon will be in my 3rd Bedroom. I could put it in the garage, but I really want it to be in the house and get used. I'm not too hip on using door anchors or having anchors on my walls

Thanks!
