If I like Tom Larcombe’s many series and Andy in the Apocalypse, what else would I like?
I’ve bounced off two or three times as many litRPG series as I enjoy. I’m finding some, like Guardian of Aster Fall, to have too thin of characters. I’m finding some, like DCC, to be too bombastic … DCC is like crossing WWF wrestling with fantasy novels to me, and I recognize how many people like it but I hate most of it. Part of what I enjoy is the slower pace; the things I like don’t have superhuman fantasy characters with superhuman stamina having the executive function to tackle five workdays worth of work in a single day. I’m not reading fantasy to feel exhausted. But I found The Wandering Inn to be just too slow, or I haven’t slogged through enough to where it gets interesting yet.
Is there a name for the pacing and level of realism-suspension builder-style books that I’m looking for?
Edit: I’m on Kindle Unlimited but not opposed to other ebook experiences for iPad. I’m just funemployed with emphasis on the FU and not buying anything new.
Storyline stalled out on repairing the cargo terminal?
I sent the truck with resources and drones to repair the cargo terminal. The truck went out, dropped the resources, and came back to base with the drones. But... the cargo terminal is still showing up on the map as a expedition, and when I select the expedition and the cargo truck it won't let me send the truck and also simultaneously has no cargo to load and no way to load cargo.
What am I missing? I've even driven the scout rover around looking for signals near it but still can't find any.
