What is the most iconic on-air debate/fight in Score history?
Some that come to mind were Bernstein and Spiegs debate about Chuck Pagano and Boers going at it with Hawk Harrelson.
The downfall of the Score truly began when they refused to pay Mike North what he was worth.
reddit.comWhy did Carl get fired for allegedly showing up to work drunk, but Nicky Smokes gets to be coked up at work events and gets no criticism?
Ever since Carl got fired from Barstool, there has been something missing among the Chicago guys. Say what you want about Carl, but he was the straw that stirred the drink in that office. He was very knowledgeable about baseball and Chicago sports overall, and there is nobody in the Chicago office that really can keep good coverage.
Can someone get Cody a new hat?
The CHICAGO hat he wears looks like it is something a tourist would pick up at a stand in Millennium Park.
I really like listening to the pod, but I am still disappointed in their Sox coverage.
With the way the Sox have been playing this season, you would think any of their Sox coverage would be better than just "Hey, isn't it cool how good the Sox are?" I am not expecting much, but I would like for something instead the smugness from Matty. Big fan of Dan, but it's clear that he still has animosity for the Sox due to the Benetti thing and lets that cloud his judgment and hesitance to talk about the Sox. I get that the Cubs will always be the main draw in the town, but the dismissive attitude towards the Sox is turning a lot of people out, and I think until the Bears season hits their stride a bit, probably needs to be addressed. Just my two cents, feel free to roast me.
29 teams had the chance to acquire Korey Lee for free this spring and refused to do so. Why do people act like he deserves another chance to serve as the catcher on the major league team this year?
reddit.comI can't wait to see Dan try to decipher and break down this masterpiece tomorrow!
Unpopular opinion: The only way to bring AGT back to its glory days is to bring back Piers Morgan as the strict judge.
reddit.comThe White Sox go 4-1 against the best two teams in the league. Why do Dan and Matt continue to ignore a good baseball team?
At this point, the lack of White Sox talk just seems intentional at this point. There are many listeners who are Sox fans who are turning this off and going elsewhere. I love Dan and love his show during Bears season, but at this point I am starting to get really annoyed by the lack of anything White Sox at this point.
Dan said today that there's no reason to have Randal Grichuk on the Sox right now. Grichuk currently has a 193 wRC+ against lefties.
For those that don't know baseball stats, that means 93% better than league average, adjusted for many different factors. I am glad that Dan is finally buying into the White Sox hype, but statements like these show me that he still isn't regularly watching games and following the team. Grichuk has been one of our best weapons to utilize against lefties this year.
Braden Montgomery spotted at O'Hare Airport this morning.
reddit.comAre they going to address Cubs employees endorsing DV on their Cubs podcast?
The same day this story from friend of the show Jeff Agrest drops, Dan talks about his Sox fandom on-air for the first time in years.
Not to be conspiratorial but this doesn't seem to be a coincidence.
