I recently got provisional admission in BCA at Loyola College, Chennai and I wanted to ask a few things before paying the fees.

1. How are the boys hostel rules and regulations?

2. What are the reporting/in-time timings for hostel students?

3. How is the food quality in the mess?

4. Does Loyola provide internships or good placement/internship support for BCA students?

5. How is the BCA department overall? Are the teachers and environment good?

6. If anyone is currently studying in BCA or knows someone from the department, please let me know your experience.

7. Also, as a North Indian student, is it worth travelling so far to Chennai for Loyola? Is the environment study-focused?

I got provisional admission for BCA at Loyola College Chennai and I need to pay the semester fees by tomorrow. I’m from North India and I only know Hindi and English, not Tamil.

I wanted to honestly ask:
- Will language be a major issue in academics or daily college life?
- Are professors cooperative with non-Tamil students?
- Do North Indian students generally face any discrimination or problems there?
- How is the overall environment for outsiders?

I know this can be a sensitive topic, but I genuinely want honest opinions from current students/alumni before confirming my admission.
