Hi - I have an audition for a city group next week and Britney Spears is my favorite artist (I’m a male so obviously I sing lower than her). I was thinking of doing one of her songs for my audition since I really like to sing upbeat, poppy songs, but would this be looked down upon since they’re usually not using as expansive of a range.
In the episode, we see the Glee club members pair off to perform ballads but we never really hear anyone perform them aside from Rachel and Will. What is your headcanon/idea you would have the other pairs perform for that episode?
The pairs were: Puck/Mercedes, Artie/Quinn, Tina/Mike, Kurt/Finn, Santana/Brittany.

Season 2 obviously gets a lot of flack here, but I was rewatching 2x12 and 2x13 and wow, that is some of the worst writing I’ve seen in all of the episodes. It seems like the writers had to shoe horn in a set of actions to advance the relationship and it made the writing choppy. Dr. Ron randomly having a date need a dermatologist referral, and then sending flowers and an apology note to Susan while she was waiting at the hospital? Some of these lines just make no sense at all. It’s just very sitcomish and isn’t the tight writing / actions that all play into one another that’s there for the other seasons, especially Season 1.
It’s also implausible that Bree wouldn’t tell the other girls about the Applewhites hiding Caleb over the phone, instead of inviting them for a poker game later to tell them. Just bad, unrealistic writing even for a fictional show. It should be grounded in reality, like most of Season 1.
