When I’m watching something on Disney+ via Roku, if I press pause, the bottom doesn’t show how many minutes I’ve watched so far, and how many minutes are remaining to watch. That’s important to me, I want to be able to see those values sometimes.
The Hulu app doesn’t have this problem, so I watch Hulu shows on the Hulu app for now.
Is there an easy way to fix this?
I took my 2013 Mark 6 Golf to a nearby garage for oil/filter, broken turn signal, and broken driver-side power window (sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn’t). This garage mostly works on German cars, is about 9 miles from my house, and I mostly trust them. The nearest VW Dealer is about 45 miles away and they’re bad to try upsell on maintenance.
I drove the car home last night then noticed the power window wasn’t working correctly. It kept freezing on the way down and I had to push the button over and over to get the window to go down.
I drove back to the garage this morning, they said they’d look at it. I tried the power window in the parking lot and it was barely working. They called me later and said it was working. When I picked it up, the power window was working fine. I asked what was wrong and what did they do. They said they didn’t do anything, that they drove it into the garage and it worked fine the first time they tried it.
Huh. I suspect they fixed it and didn’t want to admit they’d screwed up the job the first time. Maybe not, maybe it was a weird problem that fixed itself. Seems kind of crazy.

The Kraken followed a school of Red Snapper from the Gulf of Mexico into Saint Joseph Bay. It heard something ahead in the water.
A boat was dragging nets in the bay. A man stopped the boat to pull in the nets.
The Kraken was hungry. It swam toward the boat.
Red Snapper and Mullet struggled against the nets. The man pulled the fish aboard.
The Kraken touched the boat hull with its arms. It could see the outline of the man against the night sky.
The man dumped the fish into the live well, then reached for his coffee.
The Kraken reached a tentacle toward the man as a Red Snapper swam past the boat. The Kraken took the Red Snapper instead and began eating it.
The man didn't notice the turmoil in the dark water. He steered the boat toward the marina. He had fish to sell.
The sun rose as the Kraken finished eating the Red Snapper. The Kraken left the bay and swam into the gulf.
The Kraken was intrigued by the man on the boat. It didn't like shallow water but decided to return to the bay some night.
