2025 GTS vs 2027 BASE

In market for a Cayenne, upgrading from Macan base. I am talking (negotiating) dealers for a 2027 ICE BASE custom order, which is coming around $110 (expected to go up $112-13, after model refresh).

Meanwhile, found a sweet CPO deal on 2025 GTS demonstrator vehicle. Total 3+2 years warranty.

Mileage: 400 miles
Asking: $135k (original: $151k)

What GTS missing from my specs -

  1. Porsche InnoDrive + Active Lane Keep
  2. I like lighter interiors
  3. GTS has to be RED IN COLOR 🏎️

Should I pull the trigger? GTS owners - how much more in maintenance I need to pay as compared to a Base?

EDIT: GTS IT IS! LFG 🥵🚀 After the test drive, I literally forgot everything else. It’s really well speced car. Thanks for the help everyone!

After weeks of researching, comparing CPO vs new, I finally placed my custom order for a 2026 Cayenne. Upgrading from a 2021 Macan base with very basic options.

Two things I’d love to know help with:

1. Order tracking: Any insider tips on how to track the build progress or shipping once it’s in production? Any good tools, sites, or Porsche-specific resources to follow along?

2. Build feedback: Anything you’d add or swap out given the 3-day lock-in window? Open to honest opinions, especially from current Cayenne owners.

Edit 1: I have decided to add Sport Chrono Package and Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). And loose the Remote ParkAssist (looked cool on paper, sucks in real life).
