Last weekend, my elderly cousin came into Manhattan from the Bronx. She was having brunch at a new Mexican restaurant called Consuelo on 104 just East of Broadway and at some point took out an envelope of old family photos to show the relatives she was eating with. After brunch, she walked down Broadway to ProPhoto on 94th to get the photos copied and when she got there she realized she didn’t have the photos!

She walked back to Consuelo but the envelope was not there. It’s a mystery what happened to it and the photos are irreplaceable. So far the restaurant says they have not turned up.

Posting here on the off-chance someone has a tip or idea how to track them down.
