To all users who have issues running Spider-Man 2 USA to EU version
It's been 2 weeks since I started this war against Spider-Man 2: I wanted to play the "USA to EU" version, but it refused to run, no matter what; instead, the non-modified US version worked even if it lagged A LOT.
I decided that I wanted to make it run at all costs, and so I did; now the game runs smoothly 90% of the time.
This is how I did it:
First, I tried unpacking the game and running it as FOLDER, it didn't work from both external and internal SSDs. So I tried to repack it into the EXFAT format; same result, and the same was for all the other formats.
So I asked myself, why does the US version work? And after investigating a little (4 days), I found out that it worked because it didn't have the latest APR-EMU, and stopped working if I tried to update it with Game Compressor. So I took the fakelib folder from the US version, and I put it into the "USA to EU" version; it KINDA worked, BUT it was in English (my console is set to Italian), and it lagged like hell, like 3fps every 5 seconds for a minute, then was smooth for another minute, and then back to stutter-hell.
At that point I was about to give up, when I thought "what if I do the opposite thing" so I copied the FAKELIB and SCE_SYS folders from the "USA to EU" version into the unmodified US version and IT WORKED: now the game is in Italian, the audio language is in Italian too, and it is playable! I tried to run it from the internal SSD, and it crashed after a while; also, it runs better from the USB SSD.
Now the game stutters when it starts, but once you get to the main menu, it is freakin' playable, with good 60 FPS in performance mode, and some stutters during cutscenes (but if you pause the game and wait for a few seconds, it stops)
Funny thing is that in Game Compressor, now the game appears as it doesn't have APR-EMU at all, unlike all other games; there is no blue thingy with the APR-EMU version, but it works fine, so I don't care.
To achieve all this, I used the two exFAT versions, OSFMount, exFAT Image Builder 4.0.2. and A LOT of Monster Energy (Mango Loco, otherwise, it doesn't work)
P.S.: I found out that in case a game crashes or gets stuck for a very long time, if you try to close it using the "standard" way, it often causes a KP, but if you use PS5Upload (conveniently connected to the console when you start playing) and you force close it from the INSTALLED APPS section of the app, the game closes without the KP and you can run it again.
Ok, that's all folks! Bye!

How to add languages to a game from a different version
Hi, I managed to get Spider-Man 2 working fine (I found out that the problem is the APR-Emu, the game doesn't run with the latest version, but only with the previous one)
The problem is that it only has the US version languages, and my GF doesn't understand English, so I wanted to add the Italian language to the game, since the "USA to EU" version doesn't even get to the main menu.
How can I add the additional language (like they did with the other version) without touching anything else?
