help me finalize my first ILNP order! (i have very specific questions)

(Added pics of my hand so you can maybe see which shades will go with my skin tone)

So I just got into indie/boutique nail polish with an order last month to Mooncat! I got The Silent Scream (black base silver magnetic) and Epilogue to Utopia (black base purpley-blue magnetic) and Dark Omens (mauve thermal), for context. I'm wearing all of these in the pictures I attached. I like Epilogue the most because I think the other two don't really go with my skin tone. I have been searching all the indie brands and have landed on ILNP as my next order because it has sooo many shades to choose from.

Important note is that I am a devout silver jewelry wearer and I really don't want to get anything that could clash with that.

I want to get five polishes. The biggest question I have is about Lured vs. Late Night, so I'll start there. I want a decidedly BLUE shimmer or flakie. I've basically narrowed it down to Lured and Late Night but I am SERIOULSY STUCK! Lured looks gorgeous but I think it would be too much to get it with Ritual because both are dark teals. Late Night is a navy blue and I think I want to get it because of that, but also I'm worried that it'll look too dark and then I'll just have two almost-black shades (with Salem). And most of all I am convinced that Late Night could look bad on me because of its neutral (? idrk color theory) undertone, but tell me if I'm wrong. Also I If anyone happens to have Late Night I'm begging for swatches because I haven't seen many, and even better if you have Lured next to it! Or if you can recommend any other dark blue polishes from ILNP.

I'm 100% sure I want either Orbit or Eclipse (but have decided on Orbit because I think it's less gold-- if anyone has both Orbit and Eclipse I would love to hear your thoughts/see swatches).

I also am 90% sure of Salem. My only worry is that the shade of green is a little too warm. Do you think it would go well with my cool toned teal hair and silver jewelry and my skin undertones? If anyone has pictures of Salem with silver jewelry and darker skin that would be awesome.

Now here's the complicated part. I want a blue magnetic. I'm leaning towards Ritual because it's smoky and silvery and I LOVEEE that vibe. But I am worried it's a little too silvery and would not look blue enough to distinguish it from my Mooncat Silent Scream. My alternative to that is VIP because it's more obviously blue. But I really want it to look blue, not green. Can anyone speak to how silvery Ritual is, and how green VIP is?

Finally, there's Hypnosis. I think it's absolutely gorgeous BUT it has a copper shift and I'm of course worried it'll clash with the whole silver-cool toned-wearing all black thing I have going on. Any pictures or thoughts on this would be extremely helpful!

Also in general if any of you have shifty ILNP polishes that don't clash with silver you can recommend please do!

Thank you for reading my post and have a good day :)

cat violently refuses to get in crate, called animal control— any ideas?

This is my cat Cheri, I live in the northeast US. I’m 22. She’s 12 years old. She’s such a cutie but unfortunately a very cautious, moody, and probably previously traumatized cat.

I’m trying to move out of my house and go home (just graduated college here). And so my parents came to help pick her up, maybe trim her nails, and put her in the crate to take her home. In the past, she isn’t happy and she does complain and try to wriggle away, but she lets my parents pick her up and trim her nails. She grew up living with them and that’s why she generally has been comfortable with them.

BUT… the last week has been HELL. On Sunday my parents came to move me out and get her, and then all day Cheri was on edge because of the moving. My parents tried to pick her up and then all hell broke loose. She was hiding from them and if they got close she started screaming bloody murder and growling and hissing. When they finally tried to pick her up anyway, she fought for her life and clawed and bit her way out of my dad’s (gloved up) arms.

I think Cheri just really doesn’t want to leave this house and she no longer trusts the rest of my family after living her for a year with me and my roommates

They let her be and said they would come back and try to get her today. We called the vet today and asked for gabapentin to see if we could calm her down before doing all this. They completely ghosted me even though they said they would be able to give me a prescription. Even if I got the gabapentin I have no idea how she would have let me give it to her except for tricking her into eating it from a lickable treat.

It was somehow even worse today. She got cornered and then my dad picked her up and then she thrashed and screamed, until she somehow bit into his hand and he had to let her go. Then she hid in a kitchen shelf for two hours until he gave up and left.

We were desperate so we called the animal welfare/control officer in our town and she said she could come out and help tomorrow morning. I have no idea what else we could do because she seems like a genuine danger to any of us humans— she’s so scared and aggressive when we approach her that she fights with the ferocity of a feral animal, truly.

I have no idea what else to do. I’m at a loss and I also feel so bad for her. I hate hearing her screams when we try to get her. Does anyone have any ideas on anything? I have to move out by tomorrow.

More importantly, does anyone have any experience with animal control officers? What kind of things can they do to her, what can I expect? Would they sedate her or something? I couldn’t find anything on Reddit about people having to call animal control for their own cats.

TLDR called animal control officer to help get violent and scared cat into her crate. Any ideas or advice?
