Over the last couple of months, I have been studying drapery and its different types of folds. I have created smaller studies using graphite and ballpoint pen. As part of my training, I have also drawn seven of the most significant ones in charcoal. 60x45cm charcoal on newsprint.

Hi! I started with a gessoed panel and then applied a warm grey acrylic paint wash on it. I did the drawing with an HB graphite pencil and fixed it. Then I painted on top of that. Oil on panel 35x30 cm. I created this painting for a challenge on Discord.
I created this portrait using three tubes of pigment: phthalo blue, titanium white, and ivory black. At the beginning, I premixed some value groups: First, I mixed blue and black in equal proportions to offset the strong staining power of the phthalo blue, and then I gradually added white to create the lighter values. Oil on paper, 21x30cm
