I'm an avid gamer but also an avid film collector. Here's a shot of my current collection.
Saw on Barnes and Noble that about 27 of these retro VHS style slipcover Blu rays are less than $10 each on sale, but I remember Mill Creek from the DVD days being kind of crappy releases. Can anyone familiar with these titles comment on the quality of these releases?
Edit: I picked up Happy Birthday To Me and while the print quality is quite nice, there are no features at all, and this includes subtitles! Talk about bare minimum 🤣.
The first movie I'm going to watch is McCabe and Mrs Miller, BECAUSE THE FRICKIN 4K DISC HAS A SCRATCH ON IT
I've been looking forward to Desperate Living for a long time,.I'm a big Waters fan and have never seen it.
Everything except Hairspray, Brian, and Birthday are blind buys.
I'll probably go back in a week or two for Elephant Man 4k
And why is it ALWAYS the 4k disc that is loose?!?

Why is there no artwork?
Due to various factors beyond our control, we were unable to get packaging approved by the original creators. Our attempts took so long that, before we knew it, our license period was running out.
Is there an actual Blu-ray menu?
Yes, only the packaging (including disc label) is blank. The software part is quite normal.
Is this limited-edition?
We will do our best to print enough to fulfill demand for the brief time we have left on our agreement. However, after that, this title will likely go out of print forever.

We can’t see into the future, but we predict that the things preventing getting the packaging from getting approved would also prevent anybody from doing a deal for this title in the future.
If a miracle happens and you can get this show renewed AND proper packaging approved, will you offer an exchange program?

This is wild. The pure white slipcover lol. Glad it's coming because the series is so great, but this is kind of ridiculous. I predict this is going to be highly collectible once it goes OOP.
