Observation on food wastage at the restaurant
During the weekend went out for lunch in Curepipe. Price range was above average, where a chicken burger with chips cost around 600rs. Next to my table sat a group of 4 girls, early twenties. Food arrived, after the customary photoshoot for social media, they dig in.
None of them managed to eat more than half of their burgers, i thought maybe they have small appetite and they will packup the food. Waiter came, asked if they will take away the remaining food, response was negative. But to my great surprise, they ordered coffee and cake, so my question is, you just blew 600rs on a burger you couldn't even eat half, where did you find the space to eat cake and drink coffee (note that i didn't stay and don't know if they did manage to finish their deserts).
