Need haircare tips/advice!

Hi everyone, I’m 22F and I’ve decided to start focusing more on my hair health and density. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had long, thick hair growing up without even taking care of it that much. Indian genetics I guess lol; literally used 2 in 1 shampoo and barely oiled it. I remember when my grandma would braid my hair everyday into 2 thick braids before I headed off to school. Unfortunately after high school, my hair density has decreased by almost half I believe throughout the past few years, and I really miss my old hair. I know it’s just a part of growing up, with stress and your collagen I think decreasing as you age. Ik I’m probably deficient in a few vitamins which affect hair health like iron and b12 and I am taking that sort of but inconsistently. Right now I’m testing out some products and routines to help my hair become more dense and long. I’ve began washing my hair every few days (oiling it before), an anti-dandruff shampoo, hair growth serum, neem wood comb, scalp massages, wearing a satin bonnet before sleeping, and reducing heat on my hair (only blow drying after shower). Has anyone had the same experience? What did you do to grow back your hair thicker and dense, like what products or techniques did you use? I have medium/normal porosity hair and mostly straight, slight wavy hair.

Is nursing a good next move for me?

Hi everyone! I am 22 years old and currently figuring out my next step after graduation. I just graduated with a bachelor’s in Psychology, and I’ve recently been interested in doing nursing. One aspect that drew me to nursing was how versatile it is and how many opportunities it opens up so you’re not limited to bedside nursing. As a psych major I was drawn to the nursing model of care. Psych nursing and the idea of being an NP caught my eye. Is nursing worth it in 2026? I’m scared of the burnout and being able to find a job, since I’ve heard that some people are struggling to find a new grad job which is crazy. I’m also not that smart and I’m scared the pre-reqs like anatomy might make me reconsider, but I believe I can push through it. 😭 Is the ROI also worth it since I do also want to make good money as well? If so, how should I start? Should I do an ADN/associates program at community college? I also want to work a PRN shift maybe so I’m hoping I can find a hybrid program that has classes online with clinicals in person. I’m in the Orlando FL area. I also want to hear your experience as a nurse as well and if you love your job, since I’ve heard a lot of negative things about it. Sorry I’m just really freaking out right now on what to do next and I feel like I’m behind in life hsjdjde

Terminated after 2 weeks

Hello everyone, I was a new BT that got terminated after 2 weeks and I honestly don’t get it. The reason my boss stated was there were a few incidents the children eloped from me and they can’t risk the safety of the children, which I understand is very important but I wish they had communicated that with me. All of the analysts said I was doing amazing and I was getting the hang of things too so I thought I was doing things right. I went into work, saw there was nothing on my schedule and I got kicked off the team chat so I did not know how to get in touch with anyone or find out what happened. I feel like that would have been nice to know before I came into work. I have never been a BT in my life or worked with autistic children so I was trying my best to do everything right and pair with the children, and I honestly thought I was doing a good job. I was learning a lot on the job and tried to do a better job each time after I learned some tips from the analysts. Even one of my analysts was like oh I’m so excited for you to grow in the field. Yes I think I’ve had a couple of times where the children eloped but I tried my best to have them near me at all times and if they did I would run and try to catch them immediately. I just wish they had let me know instead of everyone just hyping me up and saying I was doing amazing. Honestly knew deep down I don’t think this job was for me, as I am still exploring other career fields but I would’ve at least liked to work as a BT for a few months :/ but idk if i’m even capable of patient care at this point according to them

Need some advice

Hello everyone, I am looking for some career advice relating to my recent interest in ABA. I am 22F and just graduated from my Bachelors in Psychology and I feel like I am going insane from looking at different career options. I found out about the field of ABA around last year or so and never really looked into until recently. I thought about becoming a BCBA since I thought the field was interesting, how it has a lot of wide applications in many areas, it’s a stable career, and pays really well depending on the area. I have been doing a lot of research on it and I feel like it would be something I can see myself enjoy doing, but also get exhausted. Honestly, I also am interested in other fields like healthcare admin, social work and other mental/behavioral health fields but I found that the BCBA path had a higher ROI and is a very in demand field with a lot of projected job growth. The masters I was looking into was literally less than 20k which was crazy. I am also currently a BT to figure out if the field is for me, and so far I think I like it; the BCBA’s and co workers here are very helpful, and I am definitely learning a lot. Working with kids is fun but also draining sometimes so I’m not sure. I would also love to work with adults too in mental health though. I know you can go into other fields as a BCBA outside of autism services like OBM or forensics, but you likely won’t make as much money, which sucks cause those also seem very interesting. The job market is also very shitty right now for many fields so that’s why I was thinking of pursuing this field. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not just thinking about it solely for that reason, I do want to love my job and not be miserable. I’m sorry if this sounded weird or anything, it’s my first time on this community and I was just looking for some genuine advice. I honestly just don’t know what I am doing in life right now after graduating and it feels like I have to have everything figured out lol😭
