parking in downtown garage instead of commuter pass

incoming grad student (also did my undergrad here but lived on campus all 4 years) and i’m leaning towards using the downtown garage instead of getting a commuter pass. all of my buildings are near south campus, so coming all the way from W lot is gonna be a bitch every morning. how quick does the downtown garage fill up? is there a certain time i should aim to get there by so i make sure i get a spot?

queens (or queens adjacent) cardiologist recs?

hey BWT!! my mom is in her late 50s and annually sees a cardiologist since we have a history of cardiovascular issues in my family and she has some minor issues w blood pressure. today, she got back from an appointment in tears bc he spent the whole appointment berating her for not losing enough weight since he last saw her a year ago. needless to say i’m furious (especially as a current pre-healthcare student), and am trying to help her find a new provider who has good bedside manner and ideally specializes in or is knowledgeable about post menopausal women. we have Emblem Health insurance, so providers who accept that would be preferred.

(literally) fell in love with ptown this week

last night i absolutely busted my ass on commercial street (those curbs and my tipsy self …. bad combo) and the kindness everyone nearby showed was unreal 🥹 literally everyone walking by checked to make sure i was okay and offered to help my friends clean me up and get me home. so if that was anyone here … THANK YOU!! i’ve had my fair share of public mishaps and i’ve never felt so safe and cared for by a community as i did last night

incomplete as a senior graduating this weekend ??

so i bit off way more than i could chew this sem and picked up an extra 2 credits of independent study for “fun”. this is my 4th sem taking 19+ credits and im so burnt out its not even funny. i completely dropped the ball on this project for these 2 credits and am wondering if i can put it on incomplete and just finish it over the summer. however … i am also
walking tomorrow. is this possible ?? i don’t need the credits to graduate (i have 140 without these 2 credits). i also already accepted my grad admission offer here … so can i do the incomplete ????? or am i absolutely fucked ???
