What is your Shadow Work?

Specifically infj's we have our character flaws. Typically boundaries, Messiah complex, typical door slamming, inellectualizing emotions, being enigmatic yet never expressing yourself, being too ideal which ties in with messiah complex, being too in your head, the worst of them all even I've done it hidden resentment.

Which is yours? How many of you are going to go "i feel seen 😭" How many of you can be honest with yourselves to admit some of these?

You lack boundaries

The fatal flaw of the INFJ.

You lack boundaries. It's not about always nurturing others to make yourself feel better. Even if it is in the spirit of who you are and not seeking reciprocation. What eats away at you is you lack to set boundaries.

Significant others who impose themselves in someway when it was discussed prior not to do said thing. Co workers who blatantly disrespect you in some fashion. Family members who bring up things they don't particularly care about either you or your decisions.

The sooner you're honest with yourself the better you'll feel.

You can't make others effectively communicate. But you can water it down enough so it doesn't erode your mental health.

Set your boundaries. Stop allowing others to think you're a doormat. That is your shadow work. If not the biggest one.

You don't have to be belligerent about it. You don't even necessarily need to cut someone off.

Set your boundaries.
