Earring recommendations?

Happy Sunday ladies!

I’m here to ask for recommendations. I have my ear pierced twice and have recently been wearing just a small sleeper hoop earring in my first hole. I’m looking for a recommendation for a small pearl earring that I could wear in the second hole? Preferably of quality that won’t tarnish easily. I’m not one to change my earrings often as I’m not a huge jewellery person so I don’t mind an investment every now and then.

Thank you in advance 💎

Transport options for tomorrow evening?

Hi all

I am planning on leaving tomorrow evening - wristband already promised to a friend (sorry!). Just wondering what my transport options are if I cannot sort a lift? Is there a bus service running?

Advice on OSA diagnosis

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the long post, just looking for some advice!

I’m 31F, and I’ve just been diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apena after a home sleep study. I’m waiting for my full report and a CPAP trial through the sleep clinic, but I’m honestly struggling to get my head around the diagnosis because I don’t fit what I thought the “typical” sleep apnea patient looked like.
For some background:
Age: 31
Height: 5’6” (168 cm)
Weight: 65 kg (BMI ~23)
Non-smoker
I exercise regularly (strength training and cardio)
No significant medical conditions that I’m aware of
My Apple Watch usually shows overnight oxygen between 92–100%
My resting heart rate drops into the low 40s overnight
The symptom that’s been bothering me for over two years that pushed me to go to my GP is that every night, just as I’m drifting off to sleep, I suddenly jolt awake gasping for air. It genuinely feels like my brain has ‘forgotten’ to tell my body to breathe. This can happen repeatedly for an hour or more before I finally fall asleep.

The strange thing for me is that once I’m asleep, I seem to sleep peacefully. Also my Apple Watch tells me my sleep score is in the 90s always. My partner has never noticed loud snoring or obvious pauses in my breathing, and I don’t wake up repeatedly gasping during the rest of the night (at least not that I’m aware of).

I recently received a letter saying my sleep study was positive for OSA, but I haven’t been given my AHI, oxygen levels or any other details yet. They’ve said they’ll arrange a CPAP trial and review me afterwards.

I’m just wondering:
Has anyone else been diagnosed with severe OSA despite being a healthy weight, relatively young and no risk factors?
Did your symptoms mainly happen while you were awake? rather than throughout the night?

Did CPAP help with those gasping episodes?

Were there any underlying causes found (jaw structure, airway anatomy, nasal issues, etc.)?

I’m finding it difficult to understand how I could have severe sleep apnea when I don’t seem to have many of the classic risk factors, so I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s had a similar experience.
Thanks so much in advance. Any help is really appreciated!
