I got it 2 months ago havent used it at all havent been charged the annual fee and dont plan on using it for like 6 months as I dont pay rent only partial. I also dont see the benefits for me enough to pay a fee so wanted to cancel and switch to the regular no fee one is there cons to this? Never canceled cards before

I’m currently looking into making a hard pivot into accounting by going for a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA / MAcc).
My situation:
Undergrad: Totally unrelated non-business background (BFA). I actually enjoy math and logic-based work much more than writing essays, but I have zero formal accounting prerequisites right now.
My main questions/concerns:
Is it actually doable for career switchers? For anyone who jumped into an MSA without a business undergrad, how brutal was the learning curve? Did you do prerequisite "leveling" courses at a community college first, or go through a MAcc program specifically built for non-accounting majors?
Workload & pace: How intense are graduate level accounting classes when you're coming in fresh without a finance or business foundation?
Recruiting & CPA path: Once you graduated, did having an MSA + unrelated undergrad put you on equal footing for entry level accounting roles / CPA eligibility compared to people who had a traditional 4-year accounting degree?
Would love to hear from anyone who pulled off a similar pivot or made the jump into accounting from a non-traditional background. Any program recommendations or reality checks are appreciated!
I was wondering how the payout schedule was for others? I have the mos & unit bonus im hearing the mos one is probably 50% then 25 25 the unit is lup sum but takes years to process?
