Massages post diving

I have been told both that massages after diving are bad (getting nitrogen more into tissues) and good (getting nitrogen out of tissues). Anyone know the real answer?

Bill 170

Hi friends.
Bill 170 is coming up for a hearing on Tuesday, 9/22.
The intent of the bill is good, and a lot of people Are asking for more definition to the bill and opposition to the planning department's moves.

There was a zoom discussion today that I have a link to, and I'll paste the conversation "notes" in a response.
Cheers.

Frankfurt T3 check in

Hey y'all. Flying out of FRA's new T3 Monday morning. Anyone have data points on how check in is? Arriving and passport control last week was absolutely ridonkulous.
My prior data points are all based on flying blue check in at T2 and that was a cluster.
Just curious.

The festival guy is back

Hey y'all. A friend just alerted me to the fact that the tepper guy is asking for a permit on AG land. I just submitted testimony to the Windward Planning Commission and you can too, if you want.

WPCtestimony@hawaiicounty.gov

Aloha,
I am writing in strong opposition to the special
permit application by Teppy Mountain LLC
(PL-SPP-2024-000075) to host an annual
multi-day festival on agricultural land in
Papaikou.
Agricultural land in Hawaii is a limited and
precious resource. Approving this permit would
set a dangerous precedent for the conversion
of ag land across Hawaii Island.

The applicant has already held this event
several times without a permit, accumulated
over $34,000 in fines, and is currently
appealing those fines while simultaneously
seeking this permit. This pattern of disregard
for county rules does not inspire confidence
that permit conditions will be respected going
forward.

I also urge the commission to scrutinize the
application’s designation of only 14.7 acres for
festival use on a 1,400-acre property. This
appears designed specifically to stay just
under the 15-acre threshold for a higher level
of review, and does not reflect the true scale
and impact of this proposal.

Our rural communities, our farming families,
and our agricultural lands deserve protection. I
respectfully urge the commission to deny this
application.

Mahalo for your consideration.

Hi friends. Having some issues with power generation and wondering what others have had in the last few months. Specifically since the early part of February. I got a new, updated gateway and then my generation has plummeted. I'm kinda pissed.

But, thought I'd check in with my party people on reddit to see if anyone else had massively reduced power generation since then with the storms. I'm in Kona, about 480' in elevation. Nothing blocking my solar array's sunshine access.

I'd love to hear if anyone has had any of the same issues. We don't use AC, and our production was really high until Feb 3, 2026.

Mahalo.
