What's your go-to Moccamaster recipe?

I've been experimenting with different recipes, but this is the one I keep coming back to because it's simple, consistent, and tastes great every time.

My current setup:

- Beans: Murrel Classic Blend 60gr

- Water: 1L

- Breville SGP, setting 48

- Half Pot setting

- Stir the coffee bed after 45 seconds

It gives me a balanced and reliable cup that everyone at home enjoys.

Curious to hear what everyone else is brewing.

What's the cheapest thing you've ever bought that accidentally turned out to be BIFL?

Not necessarily premium brands or expensive tools—I'm talking about those random purchases you made with zero expectations that somehow refused to die.

For me, I have two:

Omuda Nail Cutter No.3018 — bought from a local stationery store for around $1–2. I figured I'd replace it in a year or two, but it's been 9 years and it still cuts as cleanly as day one. Still sharp or no loose at all.

Knifezer TYK-074B — same story. Dirt cheap, completely random purchase, and after 8 years of use it still works exactly like new.

Almost a decade of daily use. Zojirushi is still the most reliable thing in my kitchen.
