Hey I’ve been trying to figure out the projector type at this theater but can’t find it anywhere online. The IMAX wiki doesn’t have it listed and I couldn’t find it on any other site. Anyone know if it’s a dual GT Laser capable of 1.43:1 or just a single projector limited to 1.90:1?

Hey everyone so I’m planning to watch Disclosure Day and trying to figure out if I should go Dolby or IMAX. I did some research and found out the movie was shot anamorphic at 2.39:1 so there’s no expanded aspect ratio in IMAX which kind of changes things. Like if I’m not getting extra picture then is the bigger screen still worth it over Dolby? Or does Dolby just win here because of the better blacks and sound experience? Has anyone seen it already and can share their thoughts?

I’m in Arizona and been a Movie Club member for a while now. The membership costs $11/month and gives you one “free” ticket per month but a standard Hollywood movie on opening day here is literally $12. So I’m paying $11 to save $1. What’s the point?

And for Indian films on release weekend it’s even worse, tickets are around $25 and the credit only covers $11, so I’m still paying $14 out of pocket on top of my membership fee.

On top of that, I tried buying a second ticket expecting the member pricing discount but it’s charging me full price. I thought members were supposed to get a discounted rate on additional tickets? Is that only for certain showtimes or certain movies? Because it doesn’t seem to be applying at all for me.

Am I missing something or is this membership just not worth it? Would love to know if others are in the same boat or if there’s a way to actually get value out of this
