It is super annoying that Taycan J1.1 (2020 - 2024) doesn't remember your seat heating or ventilation after 10minutes of left idle/parked.

Every other porsche does this right, I wasn't sure why Taycan doesn't. So decided to take matters into own hands and started looking for possibility of coding this.

I used Thinkdiag2 to code my taycan.

found that coding is under "Air conditioning" ECU section. seat heating setting memory type chip1 internal end stage or its German equivalent: Sitzheizung Speicher

Default value was 10minutes, changed it to Active.

Changing it to active makes it remember your last heat/ventilation setting forever (until you change it). This is how other cars do it.

Thinkdiag2 Android app

Had a loaner 2026 Macan 4S EV for the first time and immediately I noticed:

1. Interior: is 2-step down. feels like an entry-level Audi. Materials and layout is cheap. Even new Model Y L feels to have better softer materials than plastics in this 4S.
2. Comfort: 2-step down from Taycan 4s/Turbo (with pdcc). I feel the road way more vs Taycan feels like hovering over road. I feel the speed bumps too. Taycna, I barely notice them (htough have to go slow due to ground clearance)
3. Software: siginicant improvement. Carplay/Android auto always works. And lets not forget, it remembers my seat ventilation setting.
4. Handling: no comparison. but still better than other crossovers/suvs of this size. Class leading, but Taycan is at another level.
5. Road noise: Significantly louder than Taycan. Same level as Q5 or Model Y L

I loved Macan GTS (gas), but the EV version of Macan doesnt have anything appealing about it.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but what options do we've when you have a expired CPO warranty. Looking to know positive experiences with:

1. Do dealers still offer extended warranty months after expiry? Anyone had any luck with that?
2. After market warranty (that you've experience with successful claims?)
