I think the title says it all. This was my first book con, and I felt like the name was deceiving. It should be renamed "Romantasy/TikTok Con." I was excited for "Indie Alley," but when I arrived, it was all romance books! I thought I was seeing double; all the book covers looked the same. Where is the diversity? Not everyone reads romantasy. I love a good nonfiction moment .Project Hail Mary is huge right now! So where were the science fiction books? I thought I would see some thriller or mystery books, but I was wrong. Where is the literary fiction?

No hate if you are into the romantasy and smut stuff; personally, I am just not. I understand they are coming back after six years, but have they always been like this? Just venting. No hate…okay, maybe some hate. At the end of the day, I only spent 100 bucks, so I am not super upset.
