I thought you'd like my tattoo!

Since I was a kid I've wanted to be a tattoo artist and I've been in my dream job now for 10 years. I always joke to my clients that if I had more money when I was 18 I would have gotten the three cheers couple as my chest piece. Thankfully that didn't happen, but I thought it was about time I gave myself an MCR tattoo now I'm 35 and still in their chokehold like a teenager.

Alt/punk/quirky things to do in LA?

I'll be in LA for a week around Halloween for the first time by myself. I'm not too interested in the main tourist attractions (Hollywood sign, walk of fame etc) and I'm looking for unique things to check out. Think book shops, local gigs, fun experiences, music shops etc? Give me all the goods!
