A sweet addition to my Big Ticket PC… 2000-01 Upper Deck E-Card Kevin Garnett auto /200. Such a great set from @upperdecksports. This really represents the apex of great 00’s design, and being a trainee graphic designer around this time, the nostalgia this emailed is off the charts. Amazing design, great action shot and super clean auto. KG is one of my hero’s, his passion, energy and sheer will to win always set him apart for me. Along with Kobe and MJ, I can’t think of a more passionate player who simply refused to loose… of course he did sometimes, but always handled it and translated it into positive energy. Totally random addition to my PC, but I love it! Shawn Kemp was one of the first players I noticed when I started watching basketball- I was 10 when he was drafted. Whilst his career drifted, he was an absolute beast for about 10 years… no mean feat regardless of your off court situation. So, i am delighted to add his fleer rookie, signed no less, to my collection. Great picture, design and a pretty clear auto. Let be the sonics logo top left as well. Another great addition to my Scottie Pippen inserts collection- 97-98 Fleer Court Masters. I love the fact that it has both the iconic Bulls jerseys, as well as the subtle refraction. Cool pictures too, everything great about the 90’s in one card.

Been after this card for a while and managed to land one a few weeks back. I have a couple of KG autos in his timberwolves jersey, but desperately wanted one to represent his legendary championship run in Boston too. Have started a nice little side PC of Grant Hill… Mr FILA himself! I had every pair of his FILAS back in the day, so nostalgic for me… and what a player, truly elite when healthy. I have always loved the Pistons uniforms too so to get a 3 colour game worn patch made this one of my favourite ever pick ups. Who is your favourite ‘side PC’?
