Thought Problem: Public Knitting Demonstration

This is on me, because I volunteered but didn't think anyone would think that a knitting demo would be of interest. BUT I will now be doing a knitting demo for a small community event (2-3 hours, outside).

I'm thinking just bringing some past samples, nice yarns, maybe a mixture of needle types to answer questions, but then just working on whatever current project I have. But I'm curious if anyone has done anything similar, and what have you done?

Should I start and bring an elaborate project? Should I just do quick small things like ornaments that I can knock out finished pieces quickly?

Intro Fiber Arts Classes in Waterbury, VT

I'm an avid member of Makersphere's clay studio (of which there's a wait list!), but I wanted to share some upcoming beginners' classes we are offering in our all new Sewing Studio at 30 Foundry in Waterbury.

Can you learn to knit in two classes? Heck yeah you can!
Can you learn to crochet or sew? Probably, but I don't know how to do either so don't take my word for it.

Taking a Makersphere class is a great way to learn something new and support community arts education. I'm available to answer any questions, feel free to reach out!

It's not that I want to create more work for their employees, but I wish they would photograph the inside of things, too. I oddly love these but that mark is too suspicious for "excellent condition" right??
