All advice or interest is appreciated and welcome

I created a website for digital nomads and remote workers where, after analyzing your income, lifestyle, taxes, fares, weather, and many other individual data, it gives you a list of the best cities in the world that are tailored to your preferences. I myself spent 2 months choosing the best city, and when I liked a city, I soon realized that it had some drawbacks, that there was something that did not meet my requirements.if anyone is interested in using and testing it please write to me.otherwise thank you anyway

2026 digital nomad taxes are getting way more complicated than most people think

Lately I’ve been researching how different countries are handling digital nomad taxation in 2026, and I noticed a lot of outdated advice still gets repeated online:
“Just stay under 183 days.”
“Nomads don’t pay taxes anywhere.”
“A digital nomad visa solves everything.”
But in practice, many countries now look at:
tax residency ties,
center of economic interests,
employer/client relationships,
and double taxation treaties.
Some interesting patterns I found:
US citizens still face citizenship-based taxation issues
Remote workers can accidentally trigger dual residency
Digital nomad visas don’t automatically eliminate tax obligations
Countries like Georgia, UAE, and Estonia keep coming up in discussions because of their setups for remote workers
Curious what tax misconceptions people still see repeated most often in nomad communities.

Only in Phuket😂

I walked into a gym in Phuket feeling motivated.
2 minutes later the trainer looks at me very serious and says:you train or you take selfie?? Whole gym started laughing and honestly he wasn’t even wrong.
Thailand has a different type of humor man.
Anyone else had funny gym moments there?😁

I built something while going through the worst period of my life

Last year was dark. Not going to sugarcoat it.
Depression, self-doubt, questioning everything I was doing.
The one thing that kept me going was building. Not because I thought it would succeed — just because it gave me a reason to get up.
What came out of it: livewhere.io
A tool that helps remote workers figure out where in the world they can actually afford to live — based on their real salary, taxes, priorities. 200+ cities scored.
It’s not perfect. I’m still improving it.
But it exists. And I’m proud of that.
If you’ve ever stared at a spreadsheet trying to figure out “where the hell should I actually move” — this was built for you.
Free to try. Would love to know what’s missing.

Thailand might have the best cafe culture for remote workers.

I honestly didn’t expect Thailand to have so many beautiful cafes designed almost perfectly for working remotely.
Good coffee, fast Wi-Fi, calm atmosphere, people actually staying for hours working on laptops..it feels like some cities there were built for digital nomads without even trying.
What’s the best cafe or area you’ve worked from in Thailand?

Thinking about South America lately 🌎

I’ve been thinking about trying South America for a while now.
If you’ve lived there as a DN: where did you feel most comfortable day-to-day?
Not for just partying or vacation vibes -I mean actually living there.

Most “best countries for digital nomads” lists are completely nonsense

I started comparing countries based on: taxes, cost of living, healthcare, internet, safety and residency and honestly? A lot of most hyped places make zero financial sense for remote workers. Some lesser l-known countries offer: lower taxes, less stress, better quality of life, way more savings potential. Most rankings online feel more like influencer marketing than really. What country surprised you the most after living there?!

Nobody talks enough about how lonely freedom can become.

73% of digital nomads say loneliness is one of the biggest downsides of the lifestyle.everyone sees the beaches, laptops, freedom, and cheap apartments.almost nobody talks about constantly restarting your life every few months. New country, new people, new routine, over and over again.Freedom can get surprisingly lonely.

Hot take:

Southeast Asia gives you freedom. Europe gives you stability. South America gives you energy. If you had to choose ONE region to live remotely for the 5 years-what are you picking and why?🌏

We’re told that if you work hard enough, you’ll make it. That Messi became Messi because of discipline. That Conor became Conor because of mindset. But how many people had the same hunger and never got the chance? How many future champions were born in the wrong country, wrong family, wrong moment? How many geniuses are invisible because life hit harder than talent could fight back? Maybe the world only sees the survivors. Not the millions who could’ve been legendary too. That’s the part motivational culture never talks about.and maybe that’s why so many remote workers and digital nomads relate to this.most of us are just trying to change our reality, escape survival mode, and build a life that finally feels like freedom.
