How bad is the museum field?? (Europe based)

Hi!

Im finishing my masters in museum studies, and after not liking my degree anymore (its language and literature) I'm really enjoying the field of museums from the internships and volunteering work i have done. I focused more in the role of educational department and public service.

But honestly, i have been seeing and people are starting to tell me that the sector and job is not worth the hardwork...and I'm starting to get unmotivated for something that I truly like and would see myself doing for years.

I have other option (but its like a faraway plan b) but I would like to try museums first. So tell me, how bad is it?? Like should I forget it or try once to see if it's worth the blood, sweat and tears?

Btw I'm from Portugal and the cultural sector is not great as off the moment but its kind off okayish (stretched okayish).

Are the gti mk7 or mk7.5 worth for daily driving??

Hello!! Im looking to buy a gti as my first car that I own, and a close friend of mine suggested me to buy either mk7 or mk7.5. He has a mk7 and I tried it and it was a wonderful car, but im still a bit hesitant about it bc I plan to use for daily life, while he uses his for fun.

I saw two cars that had under 100kms done one was a:

Gti mk7 DSG, 2015, at 95kms, automatic, EU

And the other is a gti mk7.5 DSG, 2019, at 95k kms, EU and automatic too.

I dont plan to mod it or anything bc its illegal in my country. I dont mind the manual bc I currently drive a manual one, and maintenence is not an issue bc I know that its needed for a car.

I dont do many kms, mainly like 20 kms a day to work and home, sometimes I do long trips but no more than like 200 kms or 300 kms. I dont have a heavy foot, unless in a highway or some but even there I dont go full out.

Just wanted to know if either this models give any trouble?? Like common breakdowns or something?? How they are as in fuel consumption and such?? Just daily things to worry abt ya know.

I just want to this car to fulfill a long dream of owning a gti lol

the museum experience for adults

Hi!! Im doing a final essay for my masters in museum studies, and it's centered around the educational role of art museums and ways to elevate the museum experience of the visitors. I'm at the section where I need to present three ways that educators can do to elevate the experience.

I have a lot for children and teenagers - both in and out of academic situations - but for adults, it is a bit hard to find something that isn't just things to cure museum fatigue. So I'm coming here to ask if anyone has done something related to this and if I can use it in my essay!!

I'm trying to eat better but I dont know what to change

Im trying to eat a little better just to feel good abt myself, and if I loose weight in the process is nice but its not the goal. Im still at my parents house so my options are a bit limited but honestly we eat pretty healthy, but I still wanna know what exactly I can change for the better!

Some things abt me: female, 24, 172 cm (5'9???) And currently im at 80 kgs. I also do pilates 2 times a week

What i usually eat in a day:

Breakfast: usually i drink milk with either coffee (like a shot) and something called Ovomaltine (its like a mix of chocolate and wheats) (always with sugar and that i really cannot give up i tried but im starting to put less)with wheat bread (sometimes white bread when we dont have the other) toasted with little butter and things like ham or chorizo (im trying to avoid it) or eat wheat cereal.

Mid morning: usually nothing, but sometimes is either fruit or yogurt (those protein ones)

Lunch: this is at my parents criteria, but its usually either grilled or stew, fish two times a week (we are not big fans of fish lol) mostly boiled. We rotate between pasta, boiled potatoes and rice. Fried stuff is like once a month and its always fish. Always with salad or with veggies and I drink water. After its like an apple or before that a slice of cake if I baked one.

Mid afternoon: fresh orange juice or fruit tea with ice, a toast with wheat breader or nothing depends how hungry I am.

Dinner: its always ALWAYS soup (unless on Sunday which is the rest of lunch) and its varied soup like bean soup, cabbage soup (caldo verde for the Portuguese out there) or any of those variations. Usually I paired it with eggs either scrambled or fried in olive oil, but sometimes its like the rest of a beef from lunch or any type of small leftovers. Always drink water.

Honestly like once, sometimes twice, a week I decide to get a treat when im craving it bc I found out the hard way thats better to just eat it and settle it than ignore it and suffer (besides for me its always in phases, I can be eating something for a day and not look at it for like months). Oh and once a month I go to the Chinese restaurant when I meet my friends.

Thats it honestly!! Tell me what I can do different so it helps me feel a bit more healthy and better honestly!!
