This needs a lot of work...

Got this absolutely dream gift but it needs some tlc and I wondered if any of you smart people had any thoughts? The scuffed paint is simple enough. Theres a battery stuck in it which obviously i want to remove, unfortunately theres no screws. Im reluctant to open it incase i snap the plastic... and then theres the yellowing of the plastic and the scuffs on the end. Any tips or thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated. Im excited for a restoration project!

I wrote a Downton Abbey story! The Countess of Ill Repute!

This idea came to me one sleepless night and I just had to flesh it out! Its an alternate universe story set right at the beginning of the series. I wish there were actual Downton Abbey books.

Anyway, I would love it if a few of you read it and let me know what you think! I have a few more ideas for fan fictions if you guys are interested, including one for a murder mystery.

Now this may seem a bit pacier than your average Downton Abbey story but I just wanted to tell the tale in a short story form, rather than spread it out across 9 episodes and a christmas special.

So, please.. have a read if that's your thing and let me know your thoughts. And with that, I give you "The Countess of Ill Repute."
