Hi! So as the title says, I've been working on this book ring, then 1 left it to dry for a few days.

Today I checked if the piece was finally dry and I found it like this lol.

There's spots of that black mold pretty much everywhere

This ring was meant to be a gift, so I kinda don't want to throw it away and redo it.

Is there a safe way to get rid of the mold?

My next step (if the piece didn't have mold) would be to fill the cracks and paint with primer.
