My first air dry clay piece! 🪿 I was aiming for polka dot rain boots but my kids insist they’re fuzzy socks 😂
No special skills needed — just your hands, a bit of clay, and a few simple tools. Try it once — you won’t want to stop 🤍
I am so proud of him but I really underestimated how hard it was going to be and it definitely didn’t turn out how I expected 🤣 he is supposed to be a mandrake from Harry Potter, sculpted on a large glass milk bottle so can put flowers in, needs varnished I think he will look lovely with a shine 🥹
Made this little envelope charm completely by hand
The pieces are slightly uneven since I’m still learning and making everything manually, so I don’t want to overprice them.
Genuinely asking — what price would feel fair to you if you saw this online or at a flea market?
Hi!
I'm total beginner with air dry clay. I made a little ring holder and painted it with posca markers.
Do I need to seal it in some way? If yes, can I use mod podge after the posca paint dries?
Hi everyone, I’m trying out new air dry clay types and wanted to know what to expect. I’m curious about foam clay. I also made another post on this group asking about air dry clay and someone said I should try out sculpey so I got a mini one just to try it out. Do you guys have any ideas what I should make with a small amount of clay? I’m still kind of a beginner. I first tried air dry clay in December of 2025 so any tips would be greatly appreciated 😊 I have also never tried creative paper clay so thank you for any advice!!
I am looking for a diy air dry clay for a 30 day project. I need one that will degrade over the course of a month .. and would prefer it to not leave a mess and if so as little as possible. I am planning or hoping to leave behind seeds to grow flowers. I am very new to clay and even newer to diy clay .
Thank you so much for anything you can give me . Thank you
Could have been a lot cleaner but I had fun making this for my small cross wall
i tried making cold porcelain clay in small qnty.. w cornstarch, fevicol, little vinegar and coconut oil. after 10 secs of microwaving, it got this weird doughy texture, which i didnt see in my reference video. it was supposed to be very sticky. and after 10 more secs it turned into.. that. what did i do wrong?
almost ready (BJD was hand-sculpted with air-dry clay, painted with acrylic and watercolour paints, her clothes are hand-sewn and removable), 11'' (28cm) tall.
It's been really fun creating these pendants for necklaces. I've noticed they're quite delicate and crack easily. If I replace the varnish with resin for glazing, will they become more durable?
I sculpted the strawberries out of Das airdry clay, painted with acrylic and varnished with a glossy coat. I assembled them with acrylic beading for the leaves & flowers on an 18k gold hook. I think these are my personal favorites so far 🍓☺️
I much prefer working with air dry than polymer, but I realise air dry clay doesn't have the same durability. Has anyone had any issues selling air dry pieces? I'd love to sell my work but I rarely see anything made with air dry clay for sale
She is one of my favorite characters in the Pokémon anime because of her sassy personality and the headache duck that always messes up the team 🤣
