Are You Tempted to Short $SOFI?

I am not suggesting any kind of action here. I saw on a forum that the short interest on $SOFI was pretty high (over 10%). Some people like to use that as a line in the sand for potential short squeezes.

I tweeted a post about why that isn't always a good idea. $SOFI may have reasons to propel higher, but the short selling may have less to do with it than maybe some of the business's initiatives.

Another is possible, of course. But it won't really be that easy to tell (other than what the financial spin doctors suggest.) It's not impossible to know, but the data will lag (FINRA reports) and people will have already declared their narratives before the real reasons emerge.

How Easy Is Your Stock Market Data Platform to Use?

If it takes you weeks of tutorial videos before you can even get started with your platform, it's likely too complicated a platform and probably expensive too.

Stay tuned for my next post, which will recommend a platform that will have you working with it immediately (because it's so darn easy), but is also powerful enough to satisfy professional traders. No joke!

How much do you know about NAV Erosion with Covered Call ETFs?

On my website, Financial Markets Education, I posted an article describing covered calls and, more importantly, the risks associated with them. It's a worthy read IMHO.

I went deep dive on this post so if you had a difficult time understanding why NAV erosion occurs, I feel that the article will clarify it for you.

You can find the article here.
