Did your DRS actually go through?

Can we please settle this? I’m confused if the issue is US vs international? Or high net worth vs not?

Mine is submitted (E*TRADE) in the US. But I’ve read it will get rejected due to not trading yet (ticker not live). Also hearing Fidelity saying the same thing. Still others have an email from Schwab saying their transfer will be completed within 1 business day of live trading (aka July 29th).

So what is going on? All the brokerages are lazy and your mileage may vary? Is there truly a rule that says you cannot transfer the assets until they’re live? If so, does this law differ by region perhaps? Or are the several people mentioning they got their shares via IBKR full of it?

DIY whole-house audio with SendSpin/Music Assistant

I was floored when I saw the SendSpinZero link on the build yourself section from SendSpin. I always wanted audio integrated into Home Assistant. And ever since Music Assistant launched, this feels like the best time to get in and make something that's not proprietary.

Just posting my progress so far for others who may want to do something similar. And to hopefully bounce some ideas. Please excuse my (lack of) soldering abilities. This was my first time using a perfboard. And hopefully this doesn't make it into r/DiWHY.

I not only wanted these speakers to be connected via ethernet, but also to be PoE-powered. The components I got were: generic 8-port PoE+ switch, PoE splitter 12v, ESP32-S3-Zero, PCM5102 DAC, TPA3118 Amp, LM2596HV buck converter, 8" passive mono speakers. Seems to be working well. 5.2w at the wall! 5.5w when a song was playing at 50%. I understand SendSpin is still bleeding edge, but it's already in a great state in my opinion!

The only issue I seem to be having is once the amp powers on, I hear a loud pop. And a little bit of humming noise when no music is playing. I am hoping I can fix this with some soldered component, but maybe if someone knows the fix for these cheap amp board clones, would love to hear your solution.

Aqara Doorbell Camera G400 events into HA?

Heya! I am currently using this doorbell's native RTSP stream going into Frigate, but wish to get some automations going on doorbell presses etc. How are people achieving this? Do I add it to my HA Apple Homekit controller? Would that expose such events to HA? Powered/connected via PoE if that matters. (I have no Matter/Zigbee anything.)

Thank you!
