I think the double storage and trade-in promo is hard to beat (more storage is always welcome). Pre-order period is probably the best time to get one, for those interested.
I managed to spend some time with the Z Fold8 and I really enjoyed using it. I like the form factor the most. Texting on it feels like you're using a touchscreen blackberry (or something similar).
The phone is pocketable, but it’s a tight fit for tight jeans. It opens to around the size of an iPad Mini. You still get the black bars at the top and bottom when watching videos though, but it still feels like you have more screen real estate to work with.
The phone is also really thin when fully open, which makes holding it in one hand slightly uncomfortable (especially for those with smaller hands).
Cameras are okay. Its fine for most use cases. Also it took me awhile to get used to the side fingerprint scanner because the power button is so thin. I also like that you can register a finger by just sliding it around the scanner.
Lastly, get a case. The phone is slightly slippery (in my hands at least).
For those planning to get a Foldable, consider the Z Fold8. Its a good option.
