Looking for a Bot that can help run a competition (recognise specific responses, add to new channel, lock channels after specific timeframe)

Hey everyone,

I'm running a competition in my Discord server which will involve users answering cryptic clue questions. I am looking for a bot that would be able to facilitate the following process:

- Clue A is posted in Channel 1 (likely by Discord admin)

- User posts response to Clue A in Channel 1 (this response is hidden from other users)

- If User's response is correct, User is added to Channel 2, where Clue B will eventually be posted. If user's response is incorrect, no action required.

- After 24 hours, Channel 1 is locked so new responses cannot be added.

- Clue B is then posted in Channel 2 by Discord admin, and this process goes on.

Is there an automated solution for managing the assignment of permissions to users for these channels?

Many thanks!

(Originally posted to r/Steam but it might be better suited here)

Apologies in advance for potentially stupid questions, but I have a gaming PC upstairs in my house and would like to be able to stream games from it to my TV downstairs (both singleplayer and multiplayer). I’ve tried looking a few things up about this but haven’t really been able to find clear answers so thought I’d ask here:

  1. Does a game need to have “Remote Play” enabled to be streamed? Even singleplayer ones? I’ve seen some people recommend a GitHub extension for Parsec but it seems like this is more suited for local coop?
  2. Would an Amazon Fire Stick work for this? I haven’t yet checked if it’s possible to plug a 4K version in via Ethernet but presumably something that has Ethernet connectivity is the best option?
  3. My PC is plugged into a 1080p monitor but my TV is 4K; does any sort of upscaling occur, or do I have to run the game natively at 4K on the PC for it to output at 4K on the TV? I have Lossless Scaling in my library.

Thanks in advance!
