Basilisk V3 Pro - Does the tactile scroll wheel hold up to heavy use?
Hey everyone,
I bought a Basilisk V3 Pro for dev work (9 hours a day of scrolling). After just 1 week, I already pulled a tiny ball of fibrous debris out of the wheel housing, which got me paranoid about physical wear and tear.
I know the tactile mode relies on a physical pin riding against an exposed plastic gear inside the wheel. For those who have used this mouse heavily for a year or two: do the plastic teeth eventually grind down and lose their tactile bump? Or does the mechanism actually hold up?
Thanks!
