Lease Takeover (Aug. 10) - 1bd $3611.31 rent-stabilized unit in Downtown Brooklyn with easy transit access

Available starting August 10 (flexible).

Rent is $3,611.31 and includes heat/hot water. Other utilities (electric, internet) are additional and in my experience cost \~$131 per month on average.

Since my wife and I are moving out of state, we're looking to transfer the lease for our 1-bedroom, rent-stabilized apartment at the Addison in downtown Brooklyn. The lease ends on May 31, 2027 (10 months) and includes the option to renew. Also, rent will not increase at all upon renewal due to the city's rent freeze mandate.

Some highlights about the apartment: large windows (overlooking courtyard), 3 large closets, full kitchen with dishwasher, hardwood floors, AC unit in each room.

Building amenities include: gym, large laundry room, 24/7 concierge, lounge, courtyard, package room, laundry room, kids room, tenant storage space, parking garage, etc.

Access to public transit here is actually exceptional. Right outside (less than 15 seconds) is the Hoyt Schermerhorn subway station (A/C/E/G), which reliably provides easy commutes to the office and friends (speaking from experience). The building is also less than a 5-min walk to many other major subway lines (e.g., 2, 3, Q, N, B, R, F). You will also have a very short walk to lots of major grocery stores (e.g., Trader Joes, Target, Lidl, Fresh Grocery), not to mention many great restaurants and bars at all price points.

To qualify, management requires either (A) your yearly income to be above 40x monthly rent; or (B) a credit score at or above 675.

Application is $20. No broker fee. Security deposit is one month's rent.

Which Inner Peaks Location Do Climbers Prefer -- South End or NoDa?

I'm having a hard time choosing between Inner Peaks South End and Inner Peaks NoDa for my home gym. I know they aren't far from each other, but I train daily and would like to live close to the location I end up choosing so that I can minimize any dead time driving to/from the gym.

I'm mainly curious about the quality and style of the route setting. Which gym is generally better at setting interesting problems, especially in the v4-v8 range? I'm also curious about the difference between the two locations in terms of crowds and overall vibe (during the evening on weekdays and during weekends).

Also, in case it matters, I mainly boulder (v5-v7 range) and plan to learn lead climbing in the next year. I am familiar with the basic features of each location, but I'm not able to visit either location at the moment.
