Hoping some folks out there are familiar with Cyberpunk RED and could tell me about it and it's various sourcebooks.

[EDIT] Apparently I wasn't clear enough. I DO NOT WANT TO USE CYBERPUNK TO RUN A SPACE GAME. I want to convert a campaign idea I had for a space game to work within a traditional Cyberpunk setting frame work. I do NOT want space ships. [/EDIT]

So, I've been bitten by the Cyberpunk bug, and I want to convert a campaign I've been working on from the full on sci-fi setting I was going to run it in(Either Star Wars, Firefly, or my own Homebrew), to Cyberpunk.

For the most part it's a pretty easy convert, the Players are going to be nobodies, indentured employees of a corp, living in a corp town, who want to escape and make a name for themselves. They do escape, do a couple jobs and then get roped into a big event that looks to change the face of where they live.

The main things I want to pick peoples brains about are their escape, and the big event.

In the Sci-fi setting I was making they steal a small space ship, on which they discover a hidden cache of credits, they then sell the little ship, and using the found credits buy a bigger one. This becomes important because the owner of the stolen ship comes after them for it and it's paramount that they don't keep the ship. So what would be a good replacement for the small ship do we think? And what's a good reason to make sure they don't keep it? Maybe they don't find the cache of credits(or it's not a huge amount), so selling whatever it is is the only way they'll have any scratch?

Second is the big event. in my setting they get brought in on overthrowing the King and installing his long-thought-dead Brother onto the thrown. The current king is a despot, and his son is no better. The Obvious replacement would be a corporate takeover, but that feels much lower stakes.

Would appreciate any help anyone's willing to give.

Is anyone else having this problem? In my game right now only people on the same network can see/hear each other. Otherwise it's just each persons Profile Picture. Doesn't seem to matter how many times we reconnect or refresh the window.
