I've been looking around for the specific audio they used from this performance because it's the version of Genie that ends with them saying 'Sowoneul Malhaebwa' as opposed to the official/other versions. Anyone have a link? Preferably a Youtube link. Thanks!
can you tell i had too much fun doing this lol
I've always seen this rumor(?) come up when people are discussing the film opportunities that SM squandered for Seohyun. The only one I know that has substantial evidence is Architecture 101 where Seohyun herself discussed it at Radio Star. The role eventually went to missA's Suzy and that (alongside Dream High) pretty much launched her acting career. However, I haven't seen anything regarding Train to Busan, and I've just seen people claiming (myself included) that Sohee's role was initially offered to Seohyun. It kind of makes sense? Sohee is/was the maknae of a popular girl group (like Seohyun), and having a recognizable name and face in the film would boost box office. I wouldn't be surprised if they did offer it to Seohyun first, but I haven't seen anything about it. No interviews, articles, etc. If anyone knows anything about it, please feel free to share!
