The new CA DMV Drivers License seems like a bad joke

I recently lost my DL and applied for a replacement one. The new one....

- Feels extremely thin and like paper. It doesn't even feel solid thick plasticy cardboard that we are used to. I'm not sure if I had it to someone not from CA or US would just laugh at how pathetically cheap it feels

- The font? Its tiny and changed to something barely readable. Im not sure if someone from the font company paid DMV officials or what. The letters are mushed together and the address font size is only readable with a magnifying glass.

Showed it a friend visiting from outside and his first reaction was: Looks fake!

What a joke

Latest Zip Air Review: NRT to SJC. One of the better long-haul seats I've seen

Hi

Since these questions pop-up frequently, I thought to write a recent review. Flew last week NRT to SJC ($350 one-way ticket man, amazing).

For some reason, their app does not show up in app store, I tried in Japan, used American, and other region VPNs, no avail. In the end just got the mobile website to check in.

I chose 1 checked bag, which was at 30kg. I already had the digital boarding pass from the website on mobile. But I still had to go to the counter to drop my checked bag. They weighed my hand carry in total (all passengers, all carry-ons, including personal items and roller bags, combined). I was 2kg total over weight limit, and the attendant said upto 1-1.5kg is ok, 2kg is too much, please take something out. I just removed an empty water bottle and that satisfied her. (I felt she was trying to do her bare minimum job without actually enforcing rules). Gave us all tags for carry on.

In flight, their seats were one of the BEST DESIGNED seats I've seen. Pictures attached. Let me explain why. Yes the seats are the slim seats every airline has. Why the seats were the best:
- At the top, there is a small drop table for ipad/phone to watch things on personal devices. Also includes a hole for cups for drinks.
- In middle is a full tray.

- At bottom, a very large seat pocket + 2 additional half pockets for water bottles (2x).

- Every seat has its own charger, no sharing charger between 2 people.

-Decent average recline.

- FREE STARLINK WIFI

- Did I mention Free decent starlink wifi?

I did not order food before hand but on the wifi, I logged in (had to give seat number and name), ordered food and the hostess brought to my seat. They also had vanilla ice cream, which was ok.

Overall, I loved it and I can't complain for a long haul flight <$400.

Anyone done 240hr TWOV with kids?

Planning to take my kid to China for 5 days. I will be flying in from Germany and leaving out to Japan. I actually have a 10-year China visit visa that I got before the TWOV rules. My kid does not have any visa but would be applying for TWOV. Planning to land in Chongqing and flying out of Xian.

4-day Bergen-Flam-Geiranger trip: Can I do it without car rental

Looking to plan this Trip:
Day 1: Arrive Bergen

Day 2: Bergen → Flåm = Future of the Fjords cruise + Stegastein viewpoint (question, if not Flam, then where can I get the cruise from?)

Day 3: Flåm → Geiranger. Ideally would like to rent a car but the one-way fees are killing me. Public transport doesn't seem viable?

Day 4: Dalsnibba Skywalk + RIB Fjordsafari Geirangerfjord . Bus to Ålesund

Day 5: Alesund exit. I am happy to find another airport to leave but this seems closest? Flying to Germany next
