First time printing, first test print, things I should do to improve quality?

First time printing, first test print, things I should do to improve quality?

I know two of my corners are in the blue zone and need to try a couple different fixes but other than that, do you guys notice anything I should look into changing or fixing?

[USA-OK] [H] Intel Arc a380 ASRock Challenger, PayPal [W] Intel Arc a380 PCIe powered GPU

Timestamps: Timestamps

As the title says, I’m looking to swap my Intel Arc a380 for one that is powered exclusively by the PCIe slot, requiring no 6 or 8 pin connector. Card works great and is barely used, just need a version of it with no external power required.

It’s not 100% clear to me exactly how many different a380 cards are powered exclusively off the PCIe slot, but I believe a few are the ASRock LP, the Sparkle Elf, the Biostar ST, the MSI LP, and the GUNNIR index LP. (Again, I haven’t gone and checked each of these cards individually to verify but this is what a quick search turned up.)

I’m willing to cover a difference in value between cards with PayPal.

Beginner printer recommendations?

Been looking at finally diving into 3D printing. Need some recommendations for a solid printer to look for on the used market.

If it matters, I plan on mostly printing desktop PC case components and a few DIY home fixes. I’ll be doing a lot of my own modeling (I have some blender modeling experience but that’s it tbh).

Budget is realistically around $250 not including filament.

Have an a380 lying around (got it for like $40 on marketplace just cause it was so cheap, works but never permanently homed it). There’s a couple of surplus sales going on near me in about a month so I was gonna hunt for an optiplex to throw this into for a more robust home media server than my current one (which is more of a hybrid emulator + small media server).

Honestly I’m still pretty unfamiliar with how the Arc GPUs really work, so I’m not sure what’s best to pair it with. I know I should really look for something new enough to have fully fledged reBAR support, but that’s about it really. Thinking a 7070 will be the most likely candidate that I’ll be able to find at one of these surpluses.

Any suggestions? Would the Intel Arc subreddit maybe have more info for me on this?

(Side note, this is one of the versions which doesn’t require the external power connector).

Thanks!
