New tree day!

I wanted to share that I’ve already put 400 miles on my new LvH eBullitt-x in the four weeks since I got it. Today’s haul even included a new mountain ash tree. It is incredible to realize how much I used to drive; other than necessary trips with my elderly parents, I haven't used the car at all.

Confusing looks at the Home Depot in Montana

Where I am from, most people can’t fathom living without a car. Well, I introduced a few to the concept today while visiting Home Depot.

I have to admit it is amusing watching the confused looks on the mens’ faces as they watched a ”little lady” ride a cargo bike out of the hardware store with a 100lb toilet in the box. #haulshitolympics

My father’s home care agency has recently become unreliable and we need to switch.

He has received home care from the same agency for several years, but recently all of the responsive and helpful employees quit. After a recent hospital stay, he was supposed to receive home health, PT, and OT, but the agency never sent anyone, even after multiple reminders from Bozeman Health.

Unfortunately, we cannot afford self-pay and rely on veterans benefits. Thankfully, his service to our country has some benefits!

What home health and care agencies take VA benefits and are reliable and responsive to the client needs?

Which providers should we avoid? Employee turnover is a concern.

Thought I would share… I was lucky to come across this acoustic Bullitt on Craigslist last month. Twig was finally ready to take a ride, so we did 50 miles around the valley and visited 2 dog parks, parents in assisted living, and the big box hell hole of “Anywhere, USA”. Next step: sell the car!
