Tart, persistent dashboards for AI agents

I love claude code but am fatigued by the pure chat interface for all types of agent work. Even the GUIs these days are just better styling over the same chat interface.

I built tart (tartifacts) as a tiny way for agents to create and update persistent terminal dashboards instead of narrating everything at you.

A tart is basically:

- a manifest

- a script that fetches live state

- a script that renders it

Install: `uv tool install tartifacts`

Then tell your agent to use `tart --skill`.

Works nicely with tmux/herdr (agent chats in one pane, dashboards live in another).

live terminal artifacts with claude code

I love lil terminal visuals but lose track of them all the time.

tart makes each one a named thing: a manifest, a fetch script, a render script.

ad spend, failing cron jobs, whatever Im working on, it gives claude a canvas to paint the state.

`uv tool install tartifacts`

once installed, ask your agent to use `tart --skill` to get started. use it with herdr or tmux, Ive been obsessed.

Does anyone else deal with mispacks (wrong items / incorrect quantities) thats losing you money?

Ive work on the data side of things at a fulfillment network (6 warehouses across US).

We do about 70k orders daily and with the high employee turnover, constantly faced quality issues such as -

* incorrect item packed

* over or under packed multi unit orders

* sending packages with poor label quality - smudged or unclear - I understand this is a printer issue but still, no one catches it until its too late

* missed hazmat labels

To top it off, we dont really record the packout process so we have no way to dispute claims and just end up reshipping.

some of these really affected our relationship with carriers who would reject packages causing more delays.

Curious if anyone else is dealing with these issues and what you did to solve it
