Has anyone tried “telepathic” or manifestation meditation to attract a specific person?

Just curious about this because I keep seeing mixed stuff online.

Has anyone actually tried meditation / visualization / manifestation stuff with a specific person in mind? Not in a creepy way or trying to force anything, just like focusing on someone you already know and trying to “connect” energetically or whatever you wanna call it.

If you did try it
what exactly did you do during meditation?
did you visualize them / talk in your head / do affirmations?
did anything actually change in real life or was it more just a mindset thing?
Also if there are any good subs, YouTube channels, or teachers you’d recommend for this kind of thing (not the super fake TikTok stuff), drop them pls. :))

and would love to hear your experiences!!

22F assaulted by 44M housemate - police report filed, what should I expect?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 22-year-old woman student at Griffith Uni and for the last two months I was living in a share house with a 44-year-old Australian man and another housemate in Queensland.

Yesterday night, the 44-year-old started an argument over a tiny patch of discoloration on a wooden dining table. He demanded $800 from me and the other housemate and said he would take it from our bonds. I refused because I didn't cause the damage (because I didn’t even cook at home or eat obviously) and the amount seemed completely unreasonable.

After that, I told him if he care about his furnitures that much, he should do an Enrty Condition Report, a sharehouse agreement AND IMPORTANTLY he should’ve put the bond on RTA.

He started to yelling at me that he says he doesn’t care about RTA or the laws…

Then he ran upstairs before me, went into my room, grabbed my belongings and started throwing them down the stairs. I couldn’t believe it.

I went upstairs too and told him I was already leaving and there was no need to do that. I asked him to put my things down. He dropped them, then punched me once in the stomach and once in my left shoulder. I WAS IN A SHOCK.

I started to cry and called 000, later went to the police station and made a report, now I’m in my friend’s house.

There were no cameras in that part of the house and I don't have video evidence. I have my statement, police report, messages, and now just a stomach pain and heartburn.

Has anyone in Australia been through something similar? What usually happens next? Do police normally contact the other person and investigate, or is it difficult to proceed?

22F assaulted by 44M housemate after bond dispute – police report filed. What happens next?

Hi everyone,

For the last 2 months I've been living in a share house with a 44-year-old Australian man (I'm a 22-year-old woman) and one other housemate.

One night he suddenly started an argument over a tiny patch of discoloration on a wooden dining table, literally about the size of a fingernail. I barely even spent time at the house, don’t even cook/eat. But he insisted either I or the other housemate must have caused it.

He demanded $800 and said he would take it from our bond. In my opinion, that amount was ridiculous for such minor damage and it felt like he was just trying to keep our money…anyway.

When I refused to agree, he told me I had to leave the house that same night.

I went to my room to start packing. Before I could get there, he ran upstairs, went into my room, grabbed my belongings and started throwing them down the stairs.

I followed him upstairs and told him that I was already leaving and that there was no need to do that. I asked him to put down the things he was holding.

He dropped my belongings, then punched me once in the stomach and once in my left shoulder.

I was completely shocked. At that point I felt I had no choice but to call 000.

After that, I packed my things, went straight to the police station to make a report, and then took an Uber to a friend's house.

But the damn problem is that there are no cameras on the floor where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located,

Has anyone in Queensland or Australia been through something similar? What usually happens next? Can police still take action?

Would someone who’s completely done act like this?

Someone told me they’re not interested, (but after that i’ve seen some changes), and after two emotional “second chance” texts they still haven’t blocked me, deleted my number, hidden their last seen, or told me to stop texting them. They just read it and stayed silent.

Would you consider this a hard rejection, soft rejection, or just a gray area?

Do you actually bother deleting/blocking people you are no longer interested in?

If you are completely uninterested in someone you recently dated, why keep their number in your contacts?

Why do so many people prefer to just leave a message on read and do nothing, rather than hitting the block or delete button? Is blocking considered too dramatic nowadays, or is it just laziness? How do you usually handle this?
