
First 20k and seeking advice
So I am training for my first HM in nike run club, after every long run my ankles are very sore and I have to spray pain reliever. I am using Nike Pegasus 39, which might be causing some issue but I don't want to blame my tools before making sure I am ready. I have been running for 11 weeks and my plan contains both speed runs and recovery runs and this is the longest run I did so far. Even today's run I made sure I run at a very easy pace but by 17th km I have to break for a drinks break then suddenly the pain hit me but still managed to finish anyway. Is it just that I am not ready or something else is wrong? Apart from running I am not doing any other workouts(I have gym pass but no time to go as I have 5 runs a week)
