Looking for a face shaving routine / product recs!

I'm going to be starting on the electrolysis journey soon after tweezing forever- I just got my PMOS diagnosis and I may wait a bit to get my androgen levels more in check first. For now, when I have been shaving my chin / lip with a regular Venus razor or a face shaver, I get the little white pimple like bumps a day or two later.

Please recommend any razors, creams, or other shaving products that you love!

I'm very excited about Astoria's newest turf war 🥨

It's like the covid era ice cream trucks all over again.

Spirolactone + Rogaine?

My PMOS diagnosis is new (but such a relief), and I just had my first appointment with my derm since the diagnosis yesterday. My gyno recommended that I get on Spirolactone for hirsutism (my chief hair concern), but I also mentioned to her that I had a spot they seemed to be losing hair.

Well, turns out I my hair has thinned a lot more than I realized. The dermatologist prescribed Spirolactone (low dose for now), and recommended that I start on Rogaine since he said Spiro can take months to stop the hair loss, then longer still to promote regrowth.

Has anyone started Spirolactone and Rogaine at the same time? Any advice? Should I hold off on Rogaine or go aggressive? This one is really a gut punch, my hair is really important to me.

Looking for endocrinologist Recs for PCOS (PMOS), 2026 edition

This was asked a few years ago, but I figured an updated thread would be helpful for more than just myself!

I was just diagnosed with PCMOS, and I'm so relieved to finally have an answer. Now I'm looking for an endocrinologist in the city with a preference for a more experienced (and dare I say, female) doctor after a first endocrinologist missed this. Gyno needs are currently met, and I'm scheduled with the MD at my derm practice for next week, so hoping that works out on that end!

Do you love your endo doc? Please share!
